Marian Adams

Marian Adams lives in Louisville, KY with her husband, James, and children, Kyleigh and Emily. Marian grew up cradle Orthodox, and loved all kinds of art and crafts from an early age. After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in French, she moved to Louisville where she got to know Abigail Holt and Caroline Gann. Together, these Orthodox mothers decided to create a calendar for Orthodox children,
and the company Draw Near Designs was born. These days, Marian takes care of her children, is one of the artists of Draw Near Designs, and is the voice behind much of the business communications. She also enjoys baking, reading, staying busy, and eating ice cream with her family.

Cassandra Chamallas

Cassandra Chamallas is a business manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is a tonsured reader, a certified Sunday school teacher through the Orthodox Christian Education Commission and has been teaching for over 10 years, an avid world traveler, volunteers at Saint Basil Academy in New York, and is a proud nouna.

  Caroline Gann

Caroline Gann

Caroline Gann is a mother of two living in Louisville, Kentucky. She attends St. Michael Orthodox Church and enjoys working as a graphic designer for local clients as well as for the Orthodox company, Draw Near Designs. She also loves to cook and tinker in the garden. She is 25 years old, a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Strategic Communications. This is Caroline's first St. Emmelia Homeschool Conference.

  Laura Stade

Laura Stade

Laura Stade is a Certified Health Education Specialist and holds a B.S. in Health Science with a concentration in Community, Global and Public Health. Since 2014, she has been implementing a grant-funded health education initiative in rural St. Francois County, Missouri, where she partners with five public school districts and one parochial school. Laura serves on the Executive Committee for the Society for Public Health Education Midwest Chapter. Her primary teaching and research interests are in substance use prevention, violence prevention and social-emotional learning. Laura is a classically trained flutist, enjoys singing at church and assisting her husband Constantine with his Orthodox Christian bell ringing business New Creation Bellringing.
