"Education and Technology - Utilizing Tech to Further Your Educational Goals"

This lecture intends to provide a thoughtful critique of the relevance of technology to the pursuit of Christian education noting how technology can and should be used by educators and students, and how technology should be eschewed by the same. This talk focuses on the many practicalities of doing homeschooling.

A native Southern Californian, Father Josiah attended Westminster Seminary California, receiving his M.Div. in 1992 while studying under some of the most influential teachers in the Reformed tradition.  In 1993, he was ordained to the Holy Priesthood of the Orthodox Church and in 2004 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Durham, England.  Father Josiah has served as pastor of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Riverside, California, since 1998.  He is an Adjunct Professor of Theology at St. Katherine College in San Marcos, California (2010 – present), and was an Adjunct Professor at California Baptist University (2003-2010).  Father Josiah has published numerous articles and two books and is also the founder of Patristic Nectar Publications, a non-profit ministry.  His weekly homilies are available on his podcast, The Arena, produced by Ancient Faith Radio.
